| The Colleague Finance
General Ledger holds financial information for all state and local institute
accounts. The Colleague Finance Accounting System uses a 16-digit account number to record and report
on all financial transactions for the Institutes. Section 20000 Accounting System
Structure Colleague Finance Departmental Manual
will provide a complete description of the accounting structure. Colleague Finance produces a variety of budget reports, two
of which are mailed to departments shortly after each month's end. The system
creates a monthly budget summary report and a current month transaction detail report for
each cost center. The reports include specific month and various summaries for each
cost center in order for departments to verify balances and transactions. Section

Departmental Manual will provide a detail description of the departmental reports.
Future plans for Colleague enhancement include
departmental capability to print their own budget reports and access account information
on-line. Pilot departments have been trained and are currently testing the on-line
inquiry and reporting capabilities. In order to view your accounts and run Colleague
budget reports you must have inquiry access for Colleague Finance. If you are
