ROTC Scholarships
Four-year and three-year ROTC scholarships are awarded to
selected high school graduates on a national competitive basis.These are normally awarded
before matriculation at VMI; however, ROTC scholarships may become available for
upperclassmen based upon performance, academic proficiency, and motivation toward a
service career. For many new cadets with four- and three-year ROTC scholarships,
additional funds are available to help defray the cost of room and board for four years.
Details are available at each of the ROTC departments at VMI.Application deadlines for
these scholarship programs normally fall near the end of the first semester of the senior
